As a visual artist and programmer I use a range of digital tools to create interactive installations, expressive mobile apps, generative animation, music/sound visualisation and live performances. Through my work I often aim to position the user in the role of audiovisual composer, to place them in unfamiliar yet intuitive digital spaces, to connect them to their environments by blurring the distinction between virtual and real, to transform real world elements into abstractions in order to generate new meaning and understanding. By investigating the expressive possibilities of technology, I aim to encourage play and generate curiosity.
